On August 15, a Kamov Ka-32 helicopter caught fire while undergoing an engine test at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang Jaya. Four individuals managed to escape; however, one person was struck by debris during the incident.

As a result of the fire, the airport's runway was momentarily closed, leading to the diversion of eight flights. Reports indicate that all operations to and from the airport are currently on hold until further notice, as authorities assess the situation.
