ERSE concludes that there are no irregularities in the fuel market in Portugal
The ERSE published a report requested by the government, concluding that the fuel market shows no irregularities.

The Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE) released a study on the national fuel market at the request of the government. According to the report, no irregularities were identified in the sector, although the ERSE pointed out that the applicable taxation penalizes competition with Spain.
Furthermore, the ERSE believes that clear targets for the incorporation of biofuels into the market are lacking, a factor that could impact the sustainability of the sector. The study was conducted to assess market conditions and promote fairer competition.
