The president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, confirmed the shipment of the first 51 tons of humanitarian aid to Colombia following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the country. Bukele stated that the shipment was on its way and that he would remain attentive to Colombia's needs.

According to Cali's mayor, Alejandro Eder, the first shipment has already arrived, and the second plane with the remaining aid, totaling 100 tons, is expected to land on Wednesday, August 12. Eder expressed gratitude for the support from the Salvadoran president during this critical time.
