Twitch Streamers Can Opt Out of Training Amazon's AI
Twitch users now have the option to prevent their content from being used to train Amazon's AI models.

Twitch has announced that streamers can opt out of having their content utilized to train Amazon's generative AI models. This applies to streams, VODs, clips, stream chats, and various other content types shared on their channels. By opting out, users ensure their data will not contribute to future AI training efforts.
According to TechCrunch, the Twitch Chief Product Officer, Mike Minton, stated that Amazon's default setting will be to use streamers' content unless they choose to opt out. Minton acknowledged this setup in response to user feedback during a livestream, implying that an opt-in system would result in minimal participation.
