A seven-year-old girl, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, died after choking during recess at the Municipal School Professora Maria José Gattii Carlos, located in Ribeirão das Neves, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.
The incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, October 12. At 12:20 PM, an ambulance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) arrived at the school, which was closed following the event.
