Nvidia Reduces Funding Guarantee for OpenAI Data Center
Nvidia is scaling back its financial commitment to the OpenAI data center, reducing support significantly.

Nvidia is reportedly decreasing its funding guarantee for the OpenAI data center, initially set at $250 billion, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Recent updates suggest that the chipmaker is now expected to provide less than $120 billion in support.
In addition to the reduced guarantee, Nvidia is also in discussions to invest $3 billion in SB Energy as part of the OpenAI data center agreement, as reported by The Information. This investment reflects Nvidia's ongoing involvement in the OpenAI project despite the adjusted funding.
