NALSAR Students Persist in Protest Against CJI Attendance

Students at NALSAR have reaffirmed their call for Chief Justice of India Surya Kant not to attend their upcoming convocation. This stance is backed by both NALSAR alumni and members of the Cockroach Janta Party, who expressed solidarity with the students' position regarding the invitation to the Chief Justice.

Previously, the students submitted a representation to the vice-chancellor, articulating their concerns about the invitation extended to Chief Justice Kant. Alumni members have echoed the students' views, stating that their demand aligns with the institution's norms and principles.

In a related development, Manan Kumar Mishra, Chairman of the Bar Council of India, addressed the situation, expressing regret over the controversy and offering apologies to any students who may have felt hurt by recent events. His comments came in light of Chief Justice Kant's remarks that followed the students' protest.
