According to reports, Google's Gemini app has reached 1 billion users, making it the company's fastest-growing product to date. Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced this milestone through a post on X, marking the 14th time a Google product has achieved the 1 billion user mark.

The app is experiencing considerable user engagement, with 63% of Gemini users utilizing the voice feature to communicate directly with the assistant. Additionally, the app generates over 150 million images daily, as stated by Google.

While this milestone is significant, it is noted that OpenAI's ChatGPT has also surpassed 1 billion users, indicating that Google is not the first AI application to achieve this level of user engagement. The future of Gemini's growth remains a point of interest in light of the current pace of model updates.
