Gérald Darmanin supports Alès mayor threatened by the DZ Mafia

On Thursday, August 13, Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin visited Alès in the Gard to express his support for the city's mayor, Christophe Rivenq, who has recently received death threats from the DZ Mafia. During this occasion, Darmanin spoke of both "personal" and "political" support for the mayor.

Darmanin also informed that the National Anti-Crime Prosecutor's Office (Pnaco) has been assigned to the investigation related to the threats against Rivenq. He confirmed that progress is being made and that actions are underway to resolve this matter.
