BJP Claims Sonia Gandhi Tried to Halt Vande Mataram Singing

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Sonia Gandhi of attempting to prevent the full version of Vande Mataram from being sung during the Independence Day event. This claim was made amidst the celebrations, where tensions surfaced regarding the national song.
In response, the Congress party rebutted these allegations, stating there was no effort to halt the singing. According to Congress representatives, Ms. Gandhi's request was merely aimed at securing a chair for party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, who was reportedly standing for an extended period.
The Congress party emphasized that there was no intention to disrupt the singing of Vande Mataram and dismissed the BJP's claims as unfounded.
